On the 6th August and 17th September Integrity Business College along with ten other leading school based learning providers were invited to attend SBAT Sample Sessions coordinated by the Northern SBAT task force group at ONTTC, Cnr Roberts and High Streets Lalor (front of Peter Lalor Vocational College).
The event is designed to give students in year 10 and 11 a taste of the SBAT opportunities and experience available to them.
There was a lot of interest from students for Integrity Business College’s very successful 2016 IT and Business school based traineeships program on the day.
Not only are schools inviting Integrity to attend their employment and career expo’s but local not-for-profit organisations that support the facilitation and coordination of Workplace Learning placements for young people engaged in Structured Workplace Learning, School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships or Work Experience.
These sample sessions were designed to assist students in choosing their subjects for next year. Integrity got the opportunity to provide demonstrations and interactive activities in IT and Business.
- Information Technology participants got to test the waters on what it would be like in the IT field. This sample session touched on various qualifications, skills and knowledge needed to work in the information and communications technology (ICT) in any industry. A sneak peek into the world of Information, Digital Media and Technology.
- For students interested in working in a Business environment, this session uncovered the range of practical and theory skills needed, while providing students with a strong basis for transitioning into employment or further education. Integrity gave students an insight into the business world and the opportunities and pathways available.
Thank you to all the LLEN’s groups for inviting us to be part of your exceptional program.
